Ask for LÚA.

LÚA comes to you through a doula agency, employer, or health plan. If yours doesn't offer it yet, you can ask. Tell us who is part of your care and we'll reach out to them. Then send them a note yourself. An ask from you carries the most weight.

Step 1

Who is part of your care?

Fill in any you know. One is enough. Your doula agency is usually the fastest yes.

If your doula works independently, ask whether they're part of an agency. If not, start with your practice, employer, or health plan.

We use this only to contact the organizations you named, and to email you if one of them joins. No health questions, and your information is never sold.

Step 2

Ask them yourself, too.

Pick whoever is part of your care. Each note is ready to copy, and fills in the names you typed above.

Your doula agency

Often the fastest yes

Hi {agency}, I'd love to use MyLÚA during my pregnancy. It's a companion app that checks in with moms between visits, finds real help nearby, and keeps the care team we choose in the loop. Moms get it free through their doula agency, so it would need to come through you. Would you take a look? Here's their page for agencies: {link} Thank you, {name}

Your OB, midwife practice, or hospital

Hand it over or send it through the patient portal

Hi {practice}, I came across MyLÚA, an app that supports moms between prenatal visits. It checks in, finds real help nearby, and keeps the care team we choose in the loop. It's free for moms when a care organization offers it. Would you consider offering it to patients? More here: {link} Thank you, {name}

Your employer

Send it to HR or your benefits team

Hi, I'm expecting, and I'd like to ask whether {employer} would consider adding MyLÚA to our benefits. It's a companion app for moms through pregnancy and after birth. It checks in between appointments, finds real help nearby, and keeps the care team we choose in the loop. It's free for moms when an employer offers it. Your health plan

A phone call, not an email

Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and say: "I'd like to request a maternal support program called MyLÚA. Can you log this as a member request, and tell me who handles requests for new programs?" Write down the date, the name of the person you spoke with, and any reference number. They may tell you it isn't offered. That's okay. The request still gets logged, and requests are how plans decide what to add.
